Twenty years ago in early 1989, Lisa Greer Quateman founded her law firm (during a recession, no less) as a short-term project. She intended to re-join a large law firm “in a few months," but her entrepreneurial spirit drove her to build her own firm.
Little did she know that during the next two decades Quateman LLP would become a substantial law firm and would represent clients on matters ranging from forming new companies for budding entrepreneurs, to advising the highest levels of business and government on transactions that involve millions and in many cases billions of dollars; from a little scrape between adjoining homeowners, to purchases and sales of multimillion dollar real estate and loan portfolios. The diversity of our client base is matched by the diversity of talent and expertise that we are able to offer.
We are active as a firm and as individuals in a myriad of pro bono, community and charitable activities, including, of course, in support of other female entrepreneurs.
Today, during another time of recession, Quateman LLP is showing great adaptability in our service offerings and client base.
