Quateman LLP is pleased to announce that Scott A. Schwartz recently joined the firm. Mr. Schwartz previously worked for Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe LLP. He practices in the area of public finance and has broad experience as bond counsel, disclosure counsel and underwriter's counsel. He also practices in the area of real estate including real estate investment, development, financing and operations, ranging from leases and financings, purchases and sales to sophisticated joint ventures, multi-state and cross-border transactions.
Mr. Schwartz earned his law degree from the UCLA School of Law in 2006. While pursuing his J.D., he served as a research assistant for Samuel C. Thompson, Jr. in connection with the publication of Business Planning for Mergers & Acquisitions. In 2002, Mr. Schwartz earned a B.A. in Mass Communications from the University of California at Berkeley. Mr. Schwartz was previously honored by Bet Tzedek Legal Services for his pro bono assistance to low-income survivors of the Holocaust.
