Mr. Blum's practice encompasses a wide range of real estate practice areas. He has extensive experience in acquisition and construction financing, the purchase and sale of commercial properties and unimproved land and office and retail leasing on behalf of both landlords and tenants.
Mr. Blum has recently devoted a significant amount of time to the representation of institutional lenders in loan restructurings and workouts, loan purchases and sales, foreclosures, deed-in-lieu transactions and various litigation matters. Recent lender representation in nonperforming loans and distressed real estate includes residential developments, apartment and condominium projects and commercial and retail projects.
Prior to joining Quateman LLP, Mr. Blum practiced real estate at Katten Muchin Rosenman LLP.
