Education and Background

University of Glasgow, Scotland, U.K. Bachelor of Laws with honors, 1986; Post-Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice, 1987. Admitted to the Bar: 1988, Scotland; 2003, California.

Her experience includes numerous public finance transactions, capital markets, mergers and acquisitions, start-ups, advising on and structuring real estate funds and U.S. energy transactions. Ms. Ginn was previously a partner with the major UK firm of McGrigors, prior to which she gained experience as a director of a London-based investment banking firm where she specialized in advising on capital markets and limited partnership funds.

Ms. Ginn also acts as outside general counsel for companies large and small, providing advice on entity formation, share issuances and sales, mergers and acquisitions, loan and security transactions and general commercial matters. She advises foreign organizations on establishing businesses in the U.S. and U.S. businesses with establishing U.K. operations.

Memberships

State Bar of California, the Law Society of Scotland, the British-American Business Council, the British-American Bar Association and the Association for Corporate Growth (ACG Los Angeles). 

Distinctions 

Ms. Ginn has been appointed a Globalscot by the First Minister of Scotland.   Ms. Ginn serves as Legal Counsel & Secretary and on the Board Directors of the British-American Business Council.
