- Finance - Quateman LLP is a leading firm in banking and finance, and has particular expertise in public finance. The firm includes among its clients several banks which we advise on a variety of matters, including loan and security documentation and loan restructuring and modification. Also, we have served banks and the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) to successfully negotiate workouts and loan portfolio sales, including hundreds of troubled loan solutions, and we have specialized experience in connection with the FDIC's special statutory powers as receiver of failed banking institutions, as well as its loss share agreements and structured transactions. In the area of public finance, we serve as counsel to issuers, underwriters and credit providers and have worked with bond structure, fixed and variable rate offerings, redemption provisions, refunding, defeasance and liquidity facilities.
